Hello St. John’s Family,
I hope this email finds you well. I have called all parents of St. J’s 4th and 5th graders to let you know that we will be going to Frankie’s Fun Park this Sunday, 4/28/13, from 4pm to 7 pm. Please, let me know by Wednesday if you would like your youth to go (stjohnscolumbia@gmail.com, 610-509-9146, or 803-799-4767). That being said, we will be needing volunteers. Safe Church protocol states that for every 5 youth of a certain gender, we need a chaperone of that gender. There is a lot of 4th and 5th graders, which is great! But that means we will need a lot of chaperones as well.
Besides the above, what do you need to know:
We will be meeting at St. John’s, in the parking lot, starting at 3:45 pm. We will load up the bus and drive to Frankie’s at 4 pm (If you can’t make it to St. John’s, please contact me so I know you’re going to meet me at Frankie’s).
We will be getting game cards which allow the youth to partake in 4 events (Go-Karts, Bumper Boats, Mini Golf, Drop Zone, Fun Slide, or Laser Tag). These cards will also give them $2.50 in arcade money.
You will need to supply your youth with money to eat, and if they want to do more than 4 activities, or play in the arcade. I recommend between 30 and 40 dollars.
Please, have your youth dress in appropriate ‘fun’ clothing. They will be riding go-karts, and running around, they might even be using the bumper boats (which are extra). So dress accordingly.
At 6:45 pm we will round up the youth and load them back on the St. J’s Bus, we should be home around 7 pm.
