Rafting Pictures

Rafting the Nantahala River with Rolling Thunder River Co. was a blast! We drove up on Friday night, hung out a little while, and had a great burger dinner. We were on the second floor of the bunkhouse, sleeping on the triple bunks. We started out the next morning with a good breakfast and some horseshoes.

The river was awesome. As we drove by the section we would be rafting, we thought it looked quite low, but we soon found out that the dam lets out water just before we set off on the river. The water was a crisp 48 degrees! It was chilly! The rapids were great, and everyone had a phenomenal time. I've got four water proof disposable cameras I need to get developed, but I do have some pictures below. Check them out:

NOTE: if you want a copy of the original file of any of the photos, please let me know, and I will be happy to get it to you.
