The youth will be meeting in the Senior High classroom
Wednesday’s at 5:30 pm, beginning March 12th. They will be
discussing Rick Warren’s book, “The Purpose Driven Life.”
The following is a
summary of the five purposes, which the book covers: “We were planned for God’s pleasure, so our
purpose is to love God through worship; We were formed for God’s family, so our
purpose is to identify with his church through fellowship; We were created to
become like Christ, so our purpose is to grow to maturity through discipleship;
We were shaped for serving, so our purpose is to show love for others through
ministry; and We were made for a mission, so our purpose is to share God’s
message through evangelism.”
