Hello Friends,
I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July, and that you have been enjoying yourselves during this summer season. There's a lot going on in the next 7 days, and in the near future, so I wanted to let y'all know about it if you didn't already!
EVERYBODY: We will be seeing the 11:15 AM showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" this Friday, the 20th, at the Carmike Theater on Forest Drive. If you come dressed up as someone from the movie, the church will pay for your ticket! Otherwise, please bring $5, plus any extra money you may want for concessions.
JUNIOR HIGH: We will be meeting at Eric's San Jose on Garners Ferry at 6:30 PM Wednesday, the 18th, for an evening of queso, tacos, and fellowship. Y'all can tell me all about the fun stuff you've been doing this summer, and we'll also talk about what we want to do this fall!
SENIOR HIGH: We leave for John's Island next Sunday, the 22nd. I'm going to send out an email to y'all no later than Tuesday with all of the information on it that you will need for this upcoming trip. Also, if you are going, and you are over the age of 18, even if you just graduated High School, you have to fill out a background check form, which can be found HERE!
I'll have a schedule of what's going on in August posted after we return from John's Island!
Also, keep your eyes posted for info on a fun and exciting trip that will happen Labor Day Weekend!!!
