December 18th-EYC Advent/Christmas party! -

PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL BY FRIDAY (12/14)! WE NEED A HEAD COUNT. PLEASE ALSO LET US KNOW WHAT YOU PLAN TO BRING.

What never eats at Christmas time?... The Turkey, it's usually stuffed! Being that this is our last EYC of the year, we are getting together to share a meal, play some games and get to spend sometime with each other before the Holidays! Games, fun and food! How can it get any better.
Guys bring a side, girls bring bread and/or desserts. See you there!

February 24-26th (NEW DATE) -St. John's Sr. High Ski Trip, Winterplace WVa

Registration is DUE this Sunday!!! Remember to bring your registration to EYC.

Cost: $204

A ski is a long, flat device worn on the foot, usually attached through a boot, designed to help the wearer slide smoothly over snow ( or ice). February will mark the time our beloved youth group will get to put them on and ski down mountains. Well... one mountain to be exact! The difference this year is when you are ready to take your skis off you will only have ski up to our slope side villa. There you can relax a while without the craziness of the lodge before hitting the slopes again.
We are heading to Winterplace, WVa February 24-26th . If you would like to going please contact Jimmy Hartley as soon as possible. We must have registrations in by December 18th. You can either return them to the church office or give Jimmy Hartley. Whichever is easier! We have 21 slots available for youth so first come, first served. You may also bring a friend if you would like.

FEAST OF LIGHTS: Thur, Jan 6
It's that time of year again!! We have to begin thinking about the Feast of Lights. This is a huge and old tradition here at St. John's and the youth play many important parts. We need 19 youth to fill all the spots: Angel Gabriel, John the Baptist, 12 Apostles, Saul/Paul, Matthais, Bishop, Priest, and Deacon. Please let me know if you are interested/willing/able. Thanks!
